Project Support Officer Job at Crown Prosecution Service – The Project Support Officer (PSO) plays a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of projects across the organisation. Working as part of a dynamic team, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support to project managers and stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their project management skills in a fast-paced, national environment.

You will be involved in a variety of tasks, from maintaining project documentation and tracking progress to supporting meetings and ensuring effective communication across teams. Job description

Your roles and responsibilities: 

  • Provide administrative and coordination support to project teams and managers.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and trackers.
  • Support the organisation and facilitation of project meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes.
  • Monitor project progress and highlight risks or issues to the project manager.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other project communications.

Person specification

To be eligible to apply, you need to:

  • Have experience working in a project support, administrative, or coordination role
  • Demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills
  • Be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

It is desirable that you have the below experience but this is not required to apply: 

  • Experience working in a public sector or similar environment
  • Hold or be willing to work towards a relevant project management qualification
